The Bluelab pH Pen allows for compact and quick monitoring of your water pH and temperature, allowing you to provide the best conditions for your crops! pH is a measurement of the acidity or alkalinity of an aqueous solution. The new Bluelab pH Pens also include satchels of KCl solution, pH 4 & 7 for calibration.
 
Ensuring your pH is correct allows for your crop to uptake nutrients efficiently. Without monitoring your pH and EC levels, you're essentially growing blind. pH and EC measurement are basic tools on the belt of a hydroponic farmer.

2.Truncheon EC Meter

 
It is essential when growing with a hydroponic solution to KNOW what the strength of the solution is before feeding your plants AND while they are growing. If the conductivity reading is too low, your plants may not be getting enough nutrients. If the conductivity reading is too high, plants can dehydrate.

Understanding the conductivity of the nutrient solution takes the guesswork out of feeding plants. It will also save you money! Using the Bluelab Truncheon® Nutrient Meter is the fastest and easiest way to measure the conductivity!

To take a reading of your solution - simply place the probe head into the solution and the reading is indicated by the flashing lights. Calibration of the Truncheon® Nutrient Meter is not required.

The Bluelab French-English Truncheon® Nutrient Meter is available with Canadian-French / English labels and instructions.

 Your Bluelab Probe Care Kit – pH and Conductivity contains:

  • 18 ml single-use Bluelab Solution Sachets - two each of: pH 7.0, pH 4.0, KCl and 2.77 EC standard solution

          Maintaining your Bluelab pH and conductivity probes

 ·         To ensure ongoing accuracy and longevity, we recommend that you maintain your Bluelab probes on a regular basis. 

 ·         While no calibration is required for conductivity and temperature, you will need to calibrate your pH probe. Your Probe Care Kit contains sachets of pH 4.0, pH 7.0 and KCl solutions for calibrating and storing your pH probes, as well as 2.77 EC standard solution for testing your conductivity probe after cleaning. This kit also includes probe cleaner and cleaning instruments. 

 ·         You’ll have everything you need to clean, calibrate and hydrate your probes – in one compact and affordable kit.
